Your crew is our business

What can you expect from Holland Ship Service when we take care of your crew? Above all, we provide suitable and qualified personnel for your vessel. No need to say that they all meet up to the requirements of the STCW95.

• Crewing
  -  Crewing with a fixed contract
  -  Crewing, in close collaboration with a crewing agency

We aim for a fleet, consisting completely out of Dutch and Belgium officers and crew of the Crewing Agent at The Philippines. We believe the best cooperation will come from a crew that combines these nationalities. Furthermore, Holland Ship Service takes care of the selection and engaging of the vessel’s crew, including payroll arrangements, pension administration and insurances as well as training and transportation of the personnel.

In addition, we make sure all crewmembers have passed a medical examination with a qualified doctor, certifying that they are fit for the duties for which they are engaged. All crewmembers shall have a command of the English language of a sufficient standard to enable them to perform their duties safely.

We also ensure that the applicable requirements of the law of the flag of the vessel are satisfied in respect of the manning levels, rank, qualification and certification of the crew and employment regulations, including crew’s tax, social insurance, discipline and other requirements.
