Spotlight on the Fleet
The fleetlist of Holland Ship Service currently holds the following vessels:
- Makiri Green
- Marinus Green
- Marissa Green
- Magdalena Green
- Marlene Green
All five vessels were designed by the Dutch shipyard Schelde Newbuilding. Schelde Newbuilding has got an extensive history with high quality equipment and the building of sophisticated naval vessels. However, only the Makiri Green was actually built by this expert facility in Flushing.
The remaining vessels were constructed at the Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai, China. Currently, the entire fleet is under the commercial management of the Clipper Group. Holland Ship Service is responsible for their daily operations throughout the globe.
The vessels are being used for a large variety of cargoes on a worldwide basis, like windmills, steel products (such as coils and rails) and sailing boats. But they also transport bulk cargoes including iron ore concentrates, coal, coke and rice.
